This place is such a hidden gem for bottomless boozy brunch - definitely recommend. The vibes are great and the food is solid. The service is friendly, will definitely be back!
Located on a bustling street in Astoria. Staff was super friendly and nice to chat with. Super quick service especially when it came to filling up our mango mimosas. Food was filling and delicious. Great fusion for brunch options
Their food and drinks are unique and fabulous. The portions and prices exceeded my expectations, especially during happy hour. Highly recommend.
I went here for a girl's brunch that ended up turning into bottomless brunch! I was super excited for this spot because the decor looked really cute and the food menu looked delicious. It did not disappoint! The vibes are really chill and there are some great IG spots for nice summer photos. Our waitress was an absolute delight and recommended her favorite dishes to us. The food was so good! We split the Crispy Spam Musubi and I had the Hawaiian Omelette Fried Rice as my entree. The food is island-inspired and uses Spam in almost all the dishes. I was a bit hesitant at first because of how Spam-inspired the dishes are but they all tasted delicious! The Musubi was interesting because they made it more like sushi than traditional Japanese musubi but it tasted amazing! We ended up doing bottomless because why not? It's about 90 minutes of drink after drink. Although I stuck mainly to the Rum Punch, which I loved, I also gave the Mango Mimosa a shot and it wasn't too bad. I definitely recommend the Rum Punch! We also decided to give their regular drinks menu a try and I had We Sail Tonight for Singapore, which was amazing and came in the absolute coolest fish mouth glass! It was super refreshing and I loved the flavor combinations. My friend had Pin-up Girl, which she enjoyed. Overall, this is a gem with amazing decor, delicious food and great drinks! I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice brunch spot or looking for food in the area. I know I'll definitely be back!!
I went here for brunch and had a time! The drinks were very nice and balanced. The food menu consist of Hawaiian inspired dishes and flavor. Their appetizers are AMAZING. I instantly feel in love with the coconut shrimp it needs to be a main. My favorite side dish was the truffle taro french fires, I truly couldn't get enough of that. The vibes were that of a Sunday brunch. Service was great with exception of a waiter trying to rip off my friends and I on a bill (gaslighting), but an overall good experience overshadowed it.
One of my favorite places in Astoria, not far from two subway stations. There are nice outdoor seating areas that they spent a lot of time constructing. Great bartenders, food and drinks. The wait staff are really nice too. There are really good food and drink specials during the week. It's not often I make it in time for happy hour by the time I finish work, but they also have Taco Tuesday specials. I haven't tried the Wednesday wings specials yet. My go-to's to order are the spam musubi and the tacos (fish, shrimp, mushroom are my favorites) and margaritas. You can always ask the bartender to make something not on the menu. There is a Memorial Day street fair every year. This year The Highwater had a block party with live music. So fun!
Cute little tiki bar nestled on the corner a few blocks from Broadway with a pretty stellar brunch menu. I ordered the monkey do monkey see cocktail which was a matcha and gin concoction. Creamy, lightly citric and highly drinkable. I was on a gin kick and ordered a French 75 after that. It's not on the menu but they were accommodating. For my meal I ordered the Kahlua pork arepa eggs Benedict. The pork was super tasty and I wished the arepa stood out more. It wasn't pronounced in the meal and I forgot it was even apart of it until I looked back at what I ordered. I ordered the truffle taro fries and they were bomb. They're so small they remind me of those addictive potato stix, but they're not overly greasy or Parmesan-y that some places serve any kind of truffle fry. My friend ordered tea which was on the menu but our server said they don't do hot tea, only iced tea. But there was tea and also iced tea on the menu. The server thinks the menu is being changed over and that they may start serving tea
